Summary: Nino and Yuto are left at home for an entire afternoon.
It is expected that when Rin comes back, the house would be in a big mess.
Would the two boys be up for cleaning after themselves? Enjoy!
A/N: Dou desu ka? I was going to post this last week but our internet connection has gone on hiatus on its own again *sigh* Hope you like this one! Thanks to all the wishful hearts for the comments! And of course, my inspirations… Nin-chan and Yu-chan. DA-I-SU-KI <3 chu~

Let’s Play!…
"Tadaima." Rin entered the house late one afternoon.
"Okaeri.” Nino greeted. “I thought you went to meet up with your friends? I would have come with, if you're going to buy some groceries." Nino took the groceries from her and brought them to the kitchen.
"Yeah, I did. It was on my way back when I passed by a grocery store having a sale so I decided to take the chance. Why, did you want to buy something?" Rin followed him to the kitchen. Her eyes found Yuto, bending over the sofa in the living room. He seemed to be busy looking for something that he hadn't even noticed her arrival.
"No, I mean, I would have accompany you and help carry the groceries." Nino replied, placing the groceries on top of the kitchen counter.
"Ah sou. Arigatou." she flashed him a smile, "What have you two been doing the whole afternoon while I was gone?" she can't help but notice the mess scattered here and there through out the place. "The place is a mess!"
Before Nino could reply though, Yuto shouted "Atta!" from the living room.
"Papa, I found it! I win! I win-" Yuto was running towards the kitchen waving the Wii remote triumphantly in the air. He stopped short however upon seeing his mother scowling at him with her hands on her hips, blocking his way.
"Mama... You- you're home." The eight-year old stuttered. "Okaeri." he hastily hid the remote behind him.
"You've been playing Wii this entire time?" Rin shifted her gaze between the two, just recognizing the familiar sound that she was hearing earlier, the remote alarm.
"Eto, maa... Yuto insisted on playing one game after another." Nino confessed.
"We're playing hide and seek on wii. I'm the seeker." Yuto explained.
"I can see that. That would explain the messy house." Rin replied sternly.
"Gomen ne." Nino scratched the back of his head.
"Oh no… saying sorry and acting cute won't do it this time." Rin shook her head.
"The both of you will clean up after your mess, right now!" she commanded.
"Eh? Now? But I was winning?" Yuto complained.
"Oh?" Rin turned towards her husband, raising her eyebrow.
"As much as I would like to say I just let him win and went easy on him,” He sighed, “I can't." Nino shrugged. "He really is winning." he admitted, despite that, he's secretly proud of his son.
"Really... what's the score?" Rin inquired, rather impressed.
"15 to 14." came the boastful reply from Yuto.
Rin sighed."You've played that much huh..."
"Mama, please let us play some more."Yuto begged acting as cute as he could muster. Rin thought for a while.
"Alright." She finally gave in.
"Hontou?" her son was obviously delighted.
"BUT! I'm not done yet. We play one more game that I choose." She interrupted.
"We? You're playing too?" Yuto asked wide-eyed.
"Yep. And if I win, the both of you will not be playing any game whatsoever until the house is spic-and-span. How about that?" Rin proposed.
"and if we win?" Yuto was getting hyped up that he didn't notice his dad who was trying to send him warning signals behind his mother.
"If you win, you can play another game and your Papa will do the cleaning." Rin replied catching Nino's gestures.
"Oi, matte. Why only me? I haven't agreed to anything." Nino blurted.
"Anata wa Papa deshou?" Rin retorted.
"Sou dakedo..." Nino tried to counter.
"Yosh!" Yuto happily accepted the challenge. He was feeling confident after playing and winning a number of times.
"Ja, Iku yo!" Rin led them towards the living room, both mother and son half-dragging the father along.
"Saa tte to...Shall we begin?" Rin got her own remote and chose the game as everyone positioned themselves on the sofa in front of the screen.
She selected, "Punching Fight." and readied herself as well.
Everyone's Wii counterparts appeared and the game began promptly.
A few moments later...
Yuto sat dumbfounded staring at the screen where his character was standing just a moment ago.
Nino leaned back on the sofa with a knowing smirk on his face, having already predicted the outcome. His character too was thrown out of the ring. Only Rin's character is left, waving its arms triumphantly.
She had won.
"Well? As agreed, the both of you will begin cleaning...now." Rin chuckled watching her son's dazed expression. She then rose from the sofa and collected the wii remotes from Yuto's hands, Nino offered his.
"Maa, I was gonna clean either ways." Nino also stood up and looked around at all the tidying to be done before his gaze landed upon his son.
"Cheer up. Well, I tried to warn you." He ruffled Yuto's hair. "Let's get to work before Mama comes back.
Come on." He patted his son's shoulders. Rin had gone to change her clothes.
Yuto finally obeyed and like his father, he too, looked around and resented the mess he's made.
"Ganbatte ne Futari-domo." Rin cheered from the kitchen while taking out the groceries she’s bought and started preparing for dinner.
"I won't get tricked again." Yuto grumbled while picking up stuffs from the floor.
"Did you say something?"Rin called from the kitchen.
"Iya, betsuni. It's nothing." Yuto hastily called back.
"What's for dinner?" Nino had gone to the kitchen as well.
"It's a surprise. So don’t slack off on the cleaning." Yuto heard his mother reply. He wondered what the surprise is.
“Hai hai.” His father answered.
